About this template
This camping trip planner is for people who camp often and want to remember which campgrounds were worth it. Log one row per stay, from a tent pitch to rv camping with full hookups, and every trip works out its total and its cost a night.
Please read: This is a tracker tool only, not financial, tax, legal, medical or any other professional advice or advisory service. It records and calculates what you enter; you are solely responsible for checking all figures, rates, dates and results and for every decision you make. By purchasing, downloading or using it, you accept these terms (your statutory consumer rights are not affected).
The dashboard
Choose every stay, or just tent, RV, cabin and the rest, and the whole page follows. Nothing on it is typed.
- Nights camped and trips taken, with every kind of stay in a mini chart
- Your campgrounds, best rated first, with stars, nights, cost a night and a verdict
- The camping season: nights camped in every month
- The next trips booked, with a countdown in days
- What a night costs for each kind of stay: site fee, fuel, food and the rest
- Cost a night for your last sixteen trips
- Gear packed, gear still to buy and what it costs
Every campground, ranked
Each stay records the campground, the site, tent or RV, the hookups and the fee a night, then fuel, food and other costs once you are home, with a rating out of five. The Campsites tab turns that into a campground log, best first, with your rating, your nights there, the cost a night, the hookups and a verdict: Go back, Maybe or Skip it.
Cost a night, any way you camp
Site fees, fuel, food and the rest are shared over the nights on every trip, and per person too. Tent, RV, camper van, cabin and glamping are compared side by side, so you can see what each kind of stay costs you a night and how you rated it.
A camping gear list that ticks off
The Gear Checklist tab marks what you own, borrow or need to buy. Tick each item as it goes in the car, and the dashboard shows what is packed and what is still to buy, with its cost. It works as a camping checklist for every trip.
