About this template

This wedding gift tracker is for newlyweds who want to know who gave what and which thank you cards are still to write. Log each gift as it comes in, and the registry, the honeymoon fund and the thank-you list all keep themselves up to date.

The dashboard

The dashboard fills itself from your entries. Choose All gifts or a single kind, such as cash or registry, and everything on the page follows.

Registry and honeymoon fund, ticked off

List your wedding registry items and your honeymoon fund experiences with a price. Each gift you log counts toward one of them, so every line shows what is covered and what is still to go, and the fund adds up against its goal.

Every thank-you accounted for

Type the date each note goes out. Everything still to write is listed in the order the gifts arrived, anything past your own deadline is marked Overdue, and the file works out how long notes take on average.

Every kind of gift

Registry, off-registry, cash gifts, checks, gift cards, honeymoon fund and house fund are all added up separately. It works just as well for bridal shower gifts as for the wedding itself.

Does it track cash gifts and checks?

Yes. Registry, off-registry, cash, check, gift card, honeymoon fund and house fund gifts are each added up.

How does it decide a thank-you note is overdue?

You set your own deadline. Any note not sent by then is marked Overdue, and the dashboard shows the longest wait.

Can a gift count toward a registry item or the honeymoon fund?

Yes. Each gift can be linked to a registry item or a fund experience, and that line shows what is covered and what is still to go.
