About this template
This brand deal tracker gives influencers and every ugc creator one row per deal, from the first pitch to the day the money lands. Each deal shows its deliverables, fee, content due date and invoice date, and says Paid, Due in so many days, Overdue or Not invoiced.
Please read: This is a tracker tool only, not financial, tax, legal, medical or any other professional advice or advisory service. It records and calculates what you enter; you are solely responsible for checking all figures, rates, dates and results and for every decision you make. By purchasing, downloading or using it, you accept these terms (your statutory consumer rights are not affected).
The dashboard
Choose one brand, or all of them, and the dashboard follows. It fills itself from your deals.
- Fees booked, with the average deal
- Money paid in and invoices sent over the last 12 months
- Every unpaid invoice, soonest pay-by date first, with overdue ones in red
- Who may still run your content, and your exclusive months
- How long each brand takes to pay, from invoice to money
- Fees at every stage of the pipeline, from pitched to paid, and fees by brand
- Content deadlines still open, with what is posted so far
Usage rights in the order they end
Enter the go-live date and the months of usage the brand bought. Every usage right is listed soonest to end, and marked Ends soon inside the number of days you choose. Each exclusivity you agreed to is tracked too: the category you agreed not to work in, and the day you are free again.
Paid, due or overdue
The pay-by date is worked out from the invoice date, overdue payments are flagged by the day, and late content is flagged as well. Everything you are still owed sits on the dashboard, soonest first, so no sponsorship payment slips past.
Creator income by brand, platform and month
The Income tab adds up what each brand and each platform has booked and paid, and the money that came in each month.
Six connected tabs
Start Here, Setup, Deals, Usage Rights, Income and Dashboard: an influencer tracker that covers the money and the rights.
Light and dark editions
Every download includes a light edition and a dark edition. Every tab is restyled, not only the dashboard, and both run on the same formulas, so you simply pick the look you prefer. Each edition comes filled with a worked example and as a blank copy, in Excel and in Google Sheets.
Works with
- Microsoft Excel 2016, 2019, 2021 and Microsoft 365, on Windows and Mac, and LibreOffice
- Google Sheets with a free Google account. The Google Sheets version is a real workbook you take a copy of, not a PDF with a link in it.
- No dynamic arrays, no macros, no add-ins and no subscription
What you download
- Light edition: the Excel workbook filled with a worked example (32 brand deals across six platforms), and a blank one
- Dark edition: the same two files in the dark design
- The instruction guide, which has one-click links to the Google Sheets versions (light and dark, filled and blank)
- The terms of use as a PDF
Your files are ready to download as soon as payment clears. They are for personal and business use on your own devices, so please do not share or resell them. Questions before or after you buy? Use our contact page and we will help.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use it in Google Sheets?
Yes. The download includes Excel workbooks for Excel 2016 or later on Windows or Mac, and the instruction guide has one-click links to copy the Google Sheets versions with a free Google account.
How does it know a payment is overdue?
It works out the pay-by date from the invoice date. Once that date passes without payment, the deal is marked Overdue and counted by the day.
Can it track usage rights and exclusivity?
Yes. Enter the go-live date and months of usage, and every right is listed in the order it ends. Each exclusivity shows the category and the day you are free again.
Can I see income by platform?
Yes. The Income tab totals what was booked and paid by brand, by platform and by month.
What is the difference between the light and dark editions?
Only the look. Both have every tab restyled with the same formulas, and both come with every download.
