About this template
This lash technician bookkeeping spreadsheet is for lash and brow artists who want their income split the way their appointment book already is. Full sets, infills, brows and lift and tint each get their own line, so you can see which treatments keep the lash business running.
Please read: This is a tracker tool only, not financial, tax, legal, medical or any other professional advice or advisory service. It records and calculates what you enter; you are solely responsible for checking all figures, rates, dates and results and for every decision you make. By purchasing, downloading or using it, you accept these terms (your statutory consumer rights are not affected).
Beauty bookkeeping in your own words
A generic ledger offers product sales and service income. This one opens on the categories a lash and brow technician actually uses.
- Income lines: Lash extensions, Infills, Brows, and Lash lift and tint
- Expense lines: Products and consumables, Chair or room rent, Tools and equipment, and Laundry and hygiene, and more
- Mileage reasons: mobile appointment, wholesaler, training and studio, chosen from a drop-down
A client who comes back for infills every three weeks is worth far more over a year than one who books a single full set. A ledger that counts lash extensions and infills separately is what lets you see that.
Eleven connected tabs
Start Here, Setup, Clients, Income, Expenses, Mileage, Monthly, Quarterly, Profit and Loss, Balances and Dashboard.
- 500 income rows and 500 expense rows
- Mileage with your own reasons and the year totaled
- Monthly and quarterly totals, which is how tax gets filed
- A profit and loss built from the same two lists
- 10 client records showing what each one has been worth
- Account balances, so the file knows what the business holds
- A dashboard that reads everything
See it filled in first
The example copy holds a full year: 386 income entries and 344 expense entries at a 22.8% margin. The blank copy is ready for your own clients, room rent and supplies. The Start Here tab walks you through setup in a few minutes.
This is a bookkeeping spreadsheet, not an accountant. Tax rates and what you can claim are yours to set and yours to check.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need Excel?
No. You can use the Excel workbooks in Excel 2016 or later on Windows and Mac, or open the Google Sheets versions from the one-click links in the instruction guide with a free Google account.
Can I track infills separately from full sets?
Yes. Lash extensions, Infills, Brows, and Lash lift and tint are separate income lines in every total.
Where do room rent and supplies go?
Chair or room rent, Products and consumables, Tools and equipment, and Laundry and hygiene are ready-made expense lines.
Does it include mileage for mobile work?
Yes. The Mileage tab has reasons such as mobile appointment, wholesaler, training and studio, and totals the year.
Does it do my taxes?
No. It gives monthly and quarterly totals and a profit and loss. Tax rates and what you can claim are yours to set and check.
